APTUS provides leadership and support to school administrators and ensures the delivery of special education services that meet the requirements and timelines of the Federal Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA 2004).
We can also help you meet local and state reporting requirements, including:
- Bi-annual special education pupil count
- Federal and State electronic monitoring and technical support
- Internal auditing of special education records
Our special education team is available to prepare, present and implement coordination of IEP services and meetings. Our team can, also, represent or support the school in high profile IEPs where attorneys or advocates are involved in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Conflict Resolution. They can assist in interpreting special education regulations to formulate policies and procedures for special education programs, as well as implementing procedural safeguards to ensure compliance. Special education directors are responsible for analyzing and synthesizing assessment results to make recommendations for instructional improvements and adjustments to special education plans.
